Does it piss you when people follow the ones who do nothing, Don't do stories, don't conversate with people on their message board or rather just give hate unlike the ones who actually give time to update their books, give constructive feedback, work hard on theirs but they don't get any?
I met alot of writers who followed me and they have books they work on, but no matter how many chapters they update, they don't get that much attention from viewers. I saw someone from somebody's message board telling him/her to vote and follow them because they are upset that nobody does. I'm not telling the account to avoid embarrassing that person but I feel bad.
I met a writer here in wattpad using YouTube and now she gives free book covers and names and just to give her credit for it if you use one of them. But she also doesn't get any attention. Some are even fake followers from what I've heard from @ShiningSkase02 and that is not cool.
I'm happy that all my followers are all good and amazing people. Seriously you guys are all so nice!
@jellychee I dont quite rely on votes since this is the only writing app where I can write my stories without judgement. Its ok if you don't check it out, thank you for reading and voting on my others btw! <D
oof, sometimes, even some of the most amazing books got only one or two votes. when i started reading your book, i was so surprised. your story is really interesting and fun, but the votes are quite little. now i can see you’re growing votes, i’m so so happy for you!
in the end, i actually stopped thinking about votes. i just ended up writing because i enjoy it. i focus more on the readers that i have, and how i can make them enjoy my story. i wish you good luck on the new swenny oneshot you released!
