@SAIYAN1990 That narrative doesn't fit the context of the situation. They're on the verge of trying to kill Nathan, only to have Chloe and J.P. killed by Jefferson and they're also on the verge of dealing with the storm. Plus, Max is telling Chloe she was a quadriplegic in another universe where Max ultimately ended Chloe's life, because of that. Shifting from that to a narrative about J.P. and Max being in a relationship is too harsh a transition and would stand out like a sore thumb. It would be like relaxing on a passenger plane one moment, and then being pushed out of it the next moment.

really why not have it here, I mean if max can tell Chloe she saved her dad and told her she was in a wheelchair and had to end her life than I do not see the issue in telling JP that She and him were a couple. I think that is unfair on my man JP's part.

@SAIYAN1990 Well let's not rule out Courtney altogether, now. J.P. may not have the same feelings for Courtney as Courtney does for him in 'Max Caulfield: The Time Master', but a sequel set after that story, for instance, anything is possible with enough exposition. It's important to note that I have absolutely nothing confirmed for a sequel; just ideas in my head, at best. I'm not giving away parts of a story that might not even be written at all.

@SAIYAN1990 I've thought about tying in J.P.'s character into the upcoming Life is Strange 2 game, however I'm undecided as to whether or not I'd do that at all.

@SAIYAN1990 The idea is fine, obviously anything that keeps Chloe and J.P. from dying would be great. The idea with my story was not move too far away from my own play through of LiS. In terms of "some evidence" that links Jefferson to the crimes, that's all well and good, but I would need plenty of exposition for something like that which could really alter the course of the story, and it was something I never really thought of while writing.
