you do,  [  his hand reaches over to push his shoulder gently,  ]  you gotta let loose!

@matchpointt   *   [ he smiles a little, shaking his head, ]  i worry too much.

@matchpointt   *   i got you.  [ he kisses his cheek, ]  you can do this.

            [  he nods hesitantly,  ] ..  i’ll try,  but i’ll need you to keep tabs on me. i’ve tried quitting before since one of my pro coaches hated it. obviously it didn’t work out well. 

@matchpointt   *   [ he smiles softly, ]  you're gonna try?

@matchpointt   *   [ he leans against patrick, smiling softly, ]  okay.

            [  he smiles gently,  his hand resting on art’s leg since they sat close  ]  then i’ll be here. 

@matchpointt   *   ..i do want that.

@matchpointt   *   [ he closes his laptop and puts it aside, turning around in patrick's lap to face him and wrapping his arms around his neck ]  but i do.. want that. for this to be real.

            i get it,  [  patrick nods,  ]  there’s no pressure or anything,  

@matchpointt   *   i really missed you.. i'm sorry if i keep saying it.

            yes,  really.  [  he chuckles gently,  ]  it’s true. 

@matchpointt   *   [ he looks up at him, smiling weakly for the first time in a long time, ]  really?

@matchpointt   *   you're the best.

i’m certain.  you work so hard,  i know it’s all going to pay off. 

@matchpointt   *   you promise?

@matchpointt   *   really? i like the sound of that.

mhmm.  [  he leans down to kiss the side of his head,  ]  you can cuddle me all night tonight. 

@matchpointt   *   yeah?  [ he cuddles into his side ]

@matchpointt    *   [ he smiles and takes patrick's hand, standing up, ]  my only request is sprinkles.

okay.. probably something with chocolate.  [  they had already paid the bill as they move to stand up,  patrick reaching for art’s hand  ]
            

@matchpointt   *   you choose. ice cream was your idea.  [ he smiles ]

@matchpointt   *   i love you too.  [ he smiles widely ]

now we’re all set.  [  he smiles,  turning his head to look at art on the other side of evie.   ]  i love you both. 

@matchpointt   *   [ he comes back with a cup of water for her, putting it on the coffee table and sitting back down, grabbing a blanket for himself ]

@matchpointt   *   [ he nods slowly, ]  ..how do you mean?

[  his hand reaches to poke art’s side,  ]  that’s one word for it.  [ he smiles a little,  ]  i don’t know.  i just feel..  differently about what i want these days.
