ok so here's my opinion on the whole han jisung issue as a cambodian.
its been eight years since he wrote that song. what he said was VERY offense and i won't disregard that. what i don't agree with, is sending him death threats now when its been eight years? like, theres some things over time that will never change and could never be forgiven. racism and ableism i do believe can be changed over time if that makes sense? racism and ableism in my eyes is just a really messed up opinion. and what i mean by that, like a non-black person can say the n word in the past, and many years from then acknowledge they were wrong. same goes for ableism.
although we will probably never know these idols personally, i can definitely recognize that he has change and most likely learned from his mistakes. he knew it was wrong, even if we haven't received an actual apology yet. once he does apologize, i will accept it and hold him accountable.
