@gravesco “ oh yes , because a half alien is regular , i’ll have you know i’d be so rich if i had my face out in the open , “ he joked quietly , noting how graves didn’t pull back with his touches . he appreciated the normalcy nonetheless , people typically made things all about him being a hero or an alien , it was nice that graves didn’t have that mentality . in a lot of ways it was a breath of fresh air just being acknowledged as human . “ you telling me that or yourself ? “ he could stay like this for however long graves wanted , and he kind of doubted he’d just be able to make himself not tired and go back to work .

@IINVINCIBLES a breath he hadn’t known he’d been holding escaped him , graves never realized how tense he’s been lately that was until he finally allowed himself some rest . normally , the commander would pull away from the touch but fuck it he wanted to be selfish . “ celebrities ain’t shit . you’re still just a regular man underneath all that , regardless of your powers . ” both men weren’t so different and yet were , mark wasn’t afraid to be vulnerable while graves despised showing any bit of weakness . “ i’ve still got a job to do . as much as i’d love to soak it in.. i’ll only stay a few more minutes , got it ? ”

@gravesco mark bit back any sarcastic remarks he had , instead running his fingers through graves’s hair . it wasn’t everyday he got to see the other man like this so to an extent he was grateful that he was trusted enough to do this . a small laugh left him , “ yeah you’re laying on / thee / invincible , i’m basically a celebrity . “ mark continued to touch his hair , it was softer than he’d expected , similar to the person it belonged to , “ if you wanna sleep that’s fine , i’m not going anywhere . “
