            it was rare of graves to show resentment or to feel grief , but he always it— it always ran so deep but he never showed it to anyone .  that was until mark at least , not including his ex wife of course .  “ gotta be no different than shepard then .  if not somehow worse .  ” he scrunched his nose some distaste , just relieved that the other was able to make it out alright .  if he had known about the trouble , he would’ve kept mark closer to him .  “ i can handle myself  ,  yeah ?  messing with me would’ve caused more trouble than its worth .  looks like you got banged up good though .  ”

            mark nearly fell into graves’s arms , clearly still weak from the fight he had just come out of , “ cecil happened . . . long story short , he had something implanted in my ears , sent undead freaks after me and i’m not working for him anymore . “

            the commander couldn’t help but frown at not being given an answer , his blue eyes simply just watched as mark then flew around the room of his office .  clearly something had happened and gotten the said man all kinda of fucked up .  “ i SAID what the hell happened ?  ” he sighed , hoping his words were a bit clearer as he then pulled the other from leaning against the desk and into his arms .  “ scared the hell out of me..  coming into my office looking like this .  ”
