I think it's really alarming that most female characters are mostly abused by their parents prior to meeting the man the changes their lives drastically, or juts have some questionable background story.
While insensible enough not to attribute it to the writers real life or aid to command sympathy to their heroines, I'm more concerned on the effect it has onmany readers especially the young readers who may go painting fantasies in their head of this reality where you have to be in this really traumatic position before a breakthrough, especially one with a lot of cash comes..@wattpad. I'm no feminist, but can we promote books that don't always fall within this storyline?
