    ⁽  really  he  felt  no  need  to  make  conversation.  usually  when  he'd  worked  alongside  others  he  was  the  one  calling  the  shots.  needless  to  say  this  would  take  some  getting  used  to.  casual  conversations  on  an  uncasual  errand.  errand  if  you  put  it  lightly.  ⁾  super  strength, durability,  agility.  everything  that  makes  a  good  goddamn  soldier.  hence  the  name.

            [ malia keeps her head focused on the path.  all of her sense are on alert as the pair make their way towards the abandoned facility—-  wherever it is.  homelanders’ words echo in her mind.  another glance to the bearded man .. she can’t read him.  not in the slightest.  and she thought she was a hard read.  the silence is deafening for what feels like forever.  if her sister had been with them,  she knows it would be a different vibe—-  one she isn’t sure soldier boy would have the patience for.  there’s the faintest smirk that forms,  but just as the thought comes,  the smile leaves just as fast. ]    so ..  what’s your power besides being a cold war ken?  

    ⁽  why  that  massive  man  child  had  the  authority  to  send  ANYONE  out  was  beyond  him.  homelander  was  the  last  person  that  should  be  in  charge,  his  powers  were  lackluster  and  he'd  barely  even  been  able  to  handle  him  in  a  fight.  it  was  proof  that  soldier  boy  was  simply  better.  it  was  insulting  almost.  his  replacement  couldn't  even  live up  to  him.  ⁾   yeah,  yeah.  keeping  up—  i  don't  need  instruction.
