i saved up loads for it,    (a lot more than i’ll ever admit!)

you haven’t noticed that we don’t talk as much as we used to?     and i mean about,   like,   real stuff.     like how you’d calm me to sleep when all of the lights were off in the old house.   that was us.    it was real,     and not just..    i dunno,    breakfast chatter.    as much as i love sharing cheerios with you.      it’s not a competition to see who talks the most or anything,   i just—       i feel like i miss my sister sometimes.

            we only ran three miles.  it wasn’t that bad!  after you freshen up,  you’ll feel much better.  i promise.
