Hi… I’ve been really anxious about messaging you, but I’ve decided to go for it! I’ve been reading The Wandering God for a long time now. I was scared my message might be met with refusal or even you taking down the work. I’m still only on chapter ~49 so I reeeally hope that’s not the case. I’d be a lot further along if I would stop taking extended breaks from Wattpad. The thing is, the only reason I won’t delete the app is your story. It’s my favourite book I’ve ever read! I’m an English major with a reading addiction, so that says a lot. I am also a novice book binder, which gets me around to the question I was worried about. I want your permission to print and bind your book. If you have a copy of the document it was written on, I would really appreciate access to it (only viewer access of course). Though, that’s not necessary, just preference. The reason I bother asking is to honour the work you put into this piece. I want you to have a say in what happens to it. You’ve allowed so many people to relish in your works for free, I pray your generosity would continue. I would be… I can’t think of a word to sum up the feeling. Something like overjoyed, proud, honoured, uncontrollably sobbing at the beauty and perfection— if I could have your book in print and binding on my shelves. I’d carry it with me on trips to town so when people saw me reading and asked my favourite book I could show them yours. I’ve never met someone else who knew of it, but I would boast it to the world. I realise this has turned into a love letter, a confession of sorts… Please understand that I mean every word. Authors often express that comments are a great source of encouragement; I hope you draw on what I’ve said to keep creating and improving the way you’ve shown you’re already you’re immensely capable of. I look forward to reading your other works when I finish The Wandering God! Thank you so much
