@Baby_0J hi luv! Yay, that's great! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
I had that problem last year and sometimes it still hits me lmao. Making a story is HARD hard especially when you really want it to be well-written. But, for me, the hard part is the planning (the plot, characters with their personalities and dynamics, chapter outlines and goals).
When I successfully survived the planning part, I usually give myself deadlines so I stay on track for writing, editing, and proof reading which could be hard too tbh.
When I publish, I have 5-10 chapters ready so that I can update (scheduled!!). So, no, I don't just publish something after I write it down (I learned the hard way).
TIPS from yours truly❤️:
• Write something that means something for you and the one YOU really liked not because you want to please people. It shows a HUGE difference. Writing a story is hard so do something that you personally like.
• There will be times that you'll be stuck or have writer's block, take a break! Put yourself in a different scenery or watch movies!
• Alternatively, you can just write oneshots or short stories if long chapter stories overwhelmed you, I do that sometimes!
• Don't achieve for a perfect story if you're just starting it off. When you have ideas, just write it down and let the creativity flow naturally. You can always come back to edit those;)
Perfection is a really weird thing. Don't be hard on yourself, everyone starts somewhere so just write! Aim for something real and honest.
Sorry for my late response (╥﹏╥) I hope this helps! Will be cheering you on your stories, I'll check them out!
