The shameful part is that I haven't seen a single guy I know posting about this on their social media, not one single guy speaking up or participating in combos related to this. 
          My own cousins, whom I consider my brothers are silent today. I want to ask them where is your righteous anger, your support for this poor unfortunate victim?
          I want to ask, What happened to those promises of protecting me that you make every year when I tie a rakhi around your wrist? Is that all there is to your promise, empty words? 
          I'm not asking for much, just a simple post , a few words of support and signing a petition or two to get justice for this atrocity committed. Is there no humanity left in you that you stay silent when this inhumane act is committed??

                  These past few days have been hard...very hard. Not because I had another mental breakdown, not because I got a bad grade, not because my day was bad, but because no one is speaking up.
                      About three weeks ago, in one of the states in India, UP, there was an incident that left me shook, so much so that I didn't find the words to bring it out to anyone till now. I was still in shock, very emotional and in denial of what had happened, of how someone was capable of being such a monster.
          
                  A 19 year old girl, a practical child, was raped by four full grown males and left in a state that was worse than death. Her tongue was scratched and cut off, and her spine, broken. Her family was poor, they couldn't get treatment in time, nonetheless, that strong girl gave her statement to the cops in a state of hell. Due to improper medical treatment, she passed away a few days later...
          
                  Now I'm sure all of you sensible people would think that there would have been something that was done against this....to you I say, you have a very kind soul.
              
             The police, to save those four 'hotshots' cremated the girl's body in a field at midnight, without her parent's consent to destroy evidence against the four.
          Furthermore, they have the audacity to say that the girl was not raped since no semen was found on her body. Why would a dying girl lie? Why would she burn herself with the butt of cigarettes, not once but multiple times and then damage her own private parts on purpose?   And finally, why would she break her own spine and cut off her own tongue? 
          
          If this was a case of suicide as the police claim, there are far more easier, more painless options to kill oneself.

I'm confused. Like I'm pretty sure I'm demi/gray sexual, and somehow i don't feel as though coming out to people should be a big deal like do heterosexual people ever have to announce their sexuality to anyone, no na then why should I?? I mean isn't it like by making an announcement or clarifying you are admitting that there's something not normal about you. Correct me if I'm wrong....
