Hi, it's been a long time since I posted here, and I just wanted to say that I've fallen in love with Shakespeare's poem "Sonnet Eighteen". I really liked the choice of words and figurative of speeches , the sound techniques , and the original translation made me wonder more and more . I kept thinking who was Shakespeare's beloved and what she must have looked like to be expressed in that way. I loved how he described her beauty and compared it to a summer day so much that I mentally named it "Sonnet Eighteen, Shakespeare's beloved". I was so proud when I explained it to some students with me and my literature teacher, but I found that they always held back their laughter, and this made me think... What did I say in it that was funny...? Until I came up with the truth about Shakespeare's beloved who is praised beauty is described all the ways in which is preferable to a summer day... In fact... he is Shakespeare's closest friend .....
I've no problem with bromance , but dude- that was such a shocking plot twist T...T
