Hello, lovely people
I'm taking part in various ONC reading clubs because, let's face it, you find undiscovered gems through such clubs. @TaeTaeGinger has curated a new club where she has also opened avenues for your book promotions and is trying to build a community where you can get your work seen through the eyes of a critique.
Head there if you're interested in borrowing another set of eyes that can analyse your works!

@gulaaab Thank you for the reply! I agree with you about characters making a story when it comes to the love genre. There isn't anything else!
When it comes to horror, I think it can be a really complex genre. I like a story with an unreliable narrator or a calculating narrator. It adds to the unease of the world the story puts you in, and even if nothing much happens in the story, that sense of unease is enough to make it scary. If a story is relying on descriptions of gore to make it horror, I think the writer hasn't really done enough, That's my personal opinion.

@Matcha-Wizard it is so nice to receive a message from you, what do you look for in a great horror story if I may ask

Hello, I think the ones off the top of my head would be that the characters shouldn’t be flat, no matter how small their appearances are; I should be able to picture and define how they are even if they sometimes make decisions (which they always should) that do not fall in line with what I have in my mind, dialogues shouldn’t be redundant I mean hey a fun banter is what keeps us hooked, I love to see the characters do those (lovey dovey) things rather than just high proclamations of love

Hey there, hope your doing good.

Do you like rom-coms with flawed yet chaotic characters? If you do then I would love if you check out my book if time permits. Do let me know your reviews about it.

Also really sorry if I disturbed you in any way.

          Have a good day/night ✨
