The only reason Foul Play isn’t titled "LaMelo Ball & Jalen Johnson" is because LaMelo is always the endgame. Jalen isn’t meant to be the final love interest nor is he meant to hint that he might be, but he IS a major character and an important part of Theresa’s journey AND life.
Every character exists for a reason. Every arc is intentional. Nothing is random—everything is planned out from beginning to end. I know it can be hard to be patient when you’re excited about where things are headed, and I promise I feel that anticipation too. But at the end of the day, I’m writing the story I would want to read, and I have to stay true to that vision.
If you choose to stick with it, thank you for trusting the process. And if it’s not for you, that’s okay too <3

Sis I am here till the end! I love this story and your character development. Your readers are invested . Your skills are superb and the fact that I wanna trip Theresa on her way into the arena is a testament to that . And yeah, you can stop being so smug cause you know how this is going to end and I don’t ! its such a trip being on the journey as it’s progressing , I usually jump on towards the end of the ride. I love it
