I've seen all the bad things but decided to be blind. Every time it left a scar, like a knife- cut my skin a bit deeper each time i've decided to ignore. 
But there's no more space left on my skin and i can't pretend the wounds don't hurt. 
Silence became my shield, but it was also the thing that broke me.
