Yes, I am still alive. It's been over 3 years since I posted, but that has not been idle time for me. I have been busy putting together my first novel, the Lost Crystals, and getting it ready for publication.
          
          Because of that, I have removed all chapters of Lost Crystals (I will have chapters 1-4 available soon as a sample), and I uploaded the official cover.
          
          And speaking of a new cover, I drew, colored, designed, and edited it all myself. Last time I posted, I was still fighting with an inability to art anymore. Well, at the beginning of this year, I quit making excuses for myself, and decided to renew my art journey. So, I've been excited for that.
          
          Now, to the big question, why am I removing my work from here? Well, as I mentioned, I want to be officially published, and I really want to make it a huge part of my life. I've really started to enjoy writing, and I would like to continue doing that. I do like showing my stories (and now art, again) with the world, and it would be nice to get a little in return. So, I want to shift my focus to writing and drawing full time (not there yet, but hopefully soon).

It doesn't seem like it, but it's been over a year since I've posted an update.  Amazing how time can get away from us like that.  It's been a crazy year for me (as I'm sure it has been for many others), and I haven't written much.  The last thing I was working on was chapter 8 of Beautiful Steel, and that was around Christmas.
          
          But I haven't been completely unproductive.  I know I said it two years ago, but I went through and did the true final edits for Lost Crystals.  I've updated all the chapters (one was removed, as it just didn't fit), and these are the final versions, so it's official, the story is complete.  Soon, though, I will be adding a few appendices with some extra info about characters and items and such, kind of like bonus content.  The only thins keeping this from being 100% is the art - I'm still messing with that.  But, I'll figure something out.
          
          Anyway, I've typed plenty for now, and I don't want to ramble on too much.  So, have a great day, everyone!

Wow.  So, after some two plus years, I've written new material for Beautiful Steel.  Two whole new chapters!  I lost interest in this story way back then, but something I watched recently sparked a renewed interest for it.  We get to see some new bot tech and even learn who the mysterious woman was at the end of chapter 1.  Her personality rewrote itself while I was working on chapter 7.  That means some of my older ideas for the character need to change, but that's what makes this all interesting.  Sometimes the characters follow their own path, instead of what I had planned, and that's when things get interesting!
          
          Also, a little while back, I uploaded chapters 3 and 4 for the Search for Serulis (which is getting a small name change in the future).  I'm hung up on the ending of chapter 5, so I'm hoping to have that sorted out and uploaded soon.
          
          So, some progress is better than none!

          After setting it aside for several years, I have finally posted a new chapter (chapter 2) for the Search for Serulis (the sequel to Lost Crystals).  I don't know what took me so long to get back into it, but I managed to finish it (still needs plenty of editing, though).  The truth is, I have up to chapter 5 written (which is all the chapters in Part 1), but they are not up to my standards, and need rewritten, so I may start working on those and adding them soon.  I even have a prologue written, but I'm hesitant about it, so we'll see.
          
          I know I keep jumping around between my books, but that' how my brain works.  I write for whatever story it's interested in at that moment.  But then again, it's nice to be working on the series that got me into writing.  I would like to finish Lost Crystals, but trying to get the illustrations done for it are proving to be a massive hurdle, I just don't seem to have the skills for doodling that I used to have.  I just need to keep at it.
          
          Oops, seems I rambled a bit, sorry about that.  Hopefully I'll have more in the future!  Later!

          Been awhile again since my last activity, but I managed to post up two new chapters for Holy One.  Chapter 11 became longer than I expected, but I always seem to write lengthy fight scenes (is that a good or bad thing?).  Chapter 12 is spinning around in my head, so I may have that one soon (I hope!).
          
          Other stories?  No progress yet, but we'll see if I can get hit with inspiration!

I finally posted a new chapter for the Holy One.  I can't believe it's taken me 11 months to write a new chapter.  It doesn't feel like it, but the dates don't like.  It's not much, but it's progress.
          
          I'm currently stuck in the middle of chapters for both Prism Academy and Beautiful Steel.  I'm going to try and finish those, but I'm not having much luck.  And, there's no update on the Lost Crystals at the moment.
          
          Hopefully I can get moving again soon and get new content flowing regularly!

          Over the last few weeks, I've been quietly publishing the final edits for the Lost Crystals.  After a few months, I decided to go back over it, mainly fixing typos or wrong and missing words.  A couple of places I added a few things, but nothing major.
          
          I really want to design a new cover, and add some pictures throughout, but I still haven't found the motivation to pick up drawing again.  I'm really going to try and make an effort because I would love to mark this story as finished before the end of the year.  I started it back in 2008, and really got back into it in 2013, so I have 10 years on this story.  It's been a fun ride, but I'm ready to get rest of the series going!  I have so much to tell, and I can't linger on just one story.  So hopefully, I'll be posting more updates with more info soon!

All right!  I finally got chapter 7 of the Prism Academy uploaded.  I've been working on this one on and off for about 2 weeks.  It's just a rough draft, but it's more progress than I've made in the last few months.
          
          Duncan gets a bit of a surprise, and maybe things will start getting better for him?  I'm hoping to get more chapters up before too long, so hang in there Duncan!

          Giving another bit of an update.  Things are still slow, but I am working on some stuff.  I'm doing some very minor edits to the Lost Crystals, and I'll post all those up in one go when I'm finished.  I'm also writing up chapter 7 of Prism Academy, and starting chapter 9 of the Holy One.  I want to get the plots going on both of those because I have some real juicy stuff planned.  And, I'm still at a road block for Beautiful Steel, but I will return to it one of these days.
          
          So, things are moving a bit, and I hope to get something posted soon.  I also have two new story ideas in the works, but I'm holding off on those for the moment, as I have plenty to work on!
