Niall whips his cell phone out and calls his mom, who's at work right now. She's all right but their house is a total loss. I rubbed Emily on her back while she cried a little bit.
"It'll be okay," I told her gently.
Emily nodded and sniffled, then stopped crying. "Where will we stay?" she looked up at me.
I bite my lip "Well, I guess you guys can stay with me and my family."
"And your parents are okay with that?" Niall asks.
"Totally," I nod although I'm not sure about Dad but I know Mom will be totally cool about it. As usual.
"Thank you so much!" Emily says happily and both of them hug me.
"So...where do we go now?" I ask them both.
"Let's go to Hope's house," Niall suggests.
This sounds like a good idea to me and Emily so we go through with it. We walk over, since it's not that far away, and we knock on the door.
"Hey!" Louis swings the door open with a grin. The gang's all here--Hope, Me, all the One Direction guys, and some girl I've never seen in my life.
"This is my sister, Lauren." Hope introduces her to me.
"And my girlfriend," Louis put his arm around her.
"Can I see if Ashlyn can come over?" Niall asks Hope.
"Sure," She smiles at Niall, then he leaves the roam and everyone groans.
"Why did you guys groan simultaneously?" I asked with a confused look on my face.
"We hate Niall's girlfriend!' Harry shakes his head.
Then things went a little bit like this:
Me: He has a girlfriend?
Liam: *shudders* She's horrid.
Lauren: And what's up with her name?
Zayn: It's like her parents were trying to pick between Ashley and Lynn. *
Emily: I was thinking the same thing! *high fives Zayn*
Me: Why do we hate her?
End scene. Hope walked in with a bowl of popcorn and popped a handful in her mouth "You'll find out soon enough."
