A few minutes of stillness was all that could be seen from Shane before the spine tingling and mentally shivering feeling of being watched caused a light stir, not quite looking around but moving in the assumption that the feeling was just laying in an awkward position.
His eyes were starting to flutter open however, since the feeling stayed. He sat up, rubbing his eyes and waiting to adjust to the darkness before looking around, immediately turning towards the door, then the window.
A quiet "oh" was the only response he was able to muster, unable to clearly see through the window and the urge to just go back to bed.
