Hi everyone!
          
          If you weren’t aware, I’ve been rewriting The Light in the Dark on ao3! As I neared the end of the book on Wattpad, I knew I wanted to rewrite it some day, especially because most of it was written while I was in high school. There were certain plot points or scenes I wished to make more coherent, so that’s what I’m doing!
          
          I’d argue that this version is 1000x better, so if you loved the Wattpad version so much, definitely check out the ao3 version! My username on there is @hoefortheharries.
          
          Unfortunately, chapters will not come out as quickly (I’m currently working on “The Hexed Radio”), so please be patient!

I'm just here to say I cant seem to stop reading The Light In The Dark!!! It has such a chokehold on me -- I have read numerous amounts of fanfics but this has surely taken the #1 spot. Thank you so much for sharing your writing with us I cant wait to read more of your work <3

I apologize for the constant republishing of CLOCKED OUT. A lot of the book uses French terminology, so I’ve been researching the terms as I go. And as I learn more and more, I’ve been going back to fix mistakes I may have made in previous chapters. 
          
          But just like I had to do with British English terminology when writing TLITD (because I know American English), eventually it will come second nature and this will stop happening!! Thanks for being patient and I hope you enjoy the book :)

          I just uploaded the first chapter to "CLOCKED OUT", which is a Fred x OC fanfic I planned to write after finishing TLITD. I apologize in advance for the delayed updates this book will experience as I am a college student and finding time to write is difficult with my course-load this semester.
          
          But yeah! The book is relatively short compared to TLITD, so it won't take 3 years to finish LMAO, but I hope you do enjoy it :)

NEW CHAPTER THIS WEEKEND !!
          
          i’m really sorry about being inactive, i just had to get accommodated with my schedule for the new semester and this is the first weekend since being back where i’m not traveling around the country for dance so yeah!! it will be posted — i’ve also been writing it in chunks in my free time, so it’s basically finished regardless :)

i have 2 minutes left to post this and it was either this or be real but… HAPPY TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO TLITD !!!!! WOOP WOOP

hi everyone! 
          
          so as we close in on the SPICY (not that kind of spicy… but like… INTENSE S P I C Y) parts of TLITD, we are also nearing the end of the book. i’ve been writing it for nearly two years, so it’s kind of insane to think about it ending.
          
          but with that being said, i’m also working on “deranged” (my 001/henry creel fanfic), and for those who have followed me just for that story… i apologize for the lack of updates, i’m just putting more energy towards TLITD right now! but i will do my best to update that within the next week or so, i promise — that next chapter is spicy too, and no… i will not elaborate on which kind.
          
          also… !!! IMPORTANT !!! i’m not sure if anyone remembers my fred weasley fanfic “clocked out” and my hermione granger story “the brightest witch of her age”, both of which were stories i started. once TLITD is finished, i will ALSO be continuing with those — “clocked out” being first as i lost the planning for “TBWOHA”.
          
          and then to add onto that… i will also be writing an original story titled “THE BET”, that’s — if you follow me on tiktok, you’ll know — based off my math friend group from my freshman year. information on that will come soon.
          
          but these are just some of the projects i’m looking forward to post-TLITD, and of course, i’m open to suggestions for those who refuse to part with the book :,) (someone wanted me to write some chapters from neville’s perspective & after the story’s finished… i’m sure there’s going to be another perspective you’re going to want some information from — and if i do those, they’ll be in one-shot form separate from the actual story, which is in dawn’s perspective).
