@Pugtato13 lol! A very good question, actually ;-). While there was no 'single' inventor of the clock; prior to our clocks they used sundials & water clocks to gauge time. It was fairly imprecise/inaccurate compared to todays timekeeping methods. The invention of the pendulum in clocks then gears in watches greatly increased the overall accuracy. :-) *this public service announcement brought to you by Google search* lol...(which, thanks to your excellent question, I simply HAD to look up the answer to; bc it was bugging the crap outta me!) Just goes to show that you never know what you don't know until someone is smart enough to ask the right question...*grin*
