@Pugtato13 lol! A very good question, actually ;-). While there was no 'single' inventor of the clock; prior to our clocks they used sundials & water clocks to gauge time. It was fairly imprecise/inaccurate compared to todays timekeeping methods. The invention of the pendulum in clocks then gears in watches greatly increased the overall accuracy. :-)
