HOLY MOLY! Okay, guys, this is a really important message (actually not kidding). So, if many of you didn’t know, I’m on vacation in Brazil to visit some of my family. Bolsonaro is the next elected president of Brazil. He claims that the LGBT+ community is poising it’s way through Brazilian culture. So he says that if you see a queer on the street, you have all the rights to report them to the police or, in some cases, kill them. He also revoked their rights to even exist. You can’t show affection to your significant other in public anymore without being in danger. So I was going through my Insta feed and came across Ben Levi Ross’ story. In his story was a news disclaimer about a trans woman who was shot in the head and killed on her way to the gym. I told my family about how wrong this was. They agree with the president tho (I mean, I was kind of expecting this since they’re homophobic as fuck). But I don’t think I’ve ever felt so alone. I mean, as many of you know, I’m a raging bisexual. But I love my family, even tho they say the worst of the worst about the LGBT+ community. So now I’m battling some homophobia with my own homosexuality and I’m just... confused. Anyone have advice?
