            with the way she lit up , you would have thought someone had just offered her the entire world and more .  "  oh , puddin !  you mean it ? you're the best ! "  she gushed , lightly leaning her head into his kiss . like a plant soaking in the sunlight , harley always ate up any affection he showed her , and boy , was she enjoying being in his arms .

            the  madman  noticed  the  pout  crossing  her  lips  ,  undoubtedly  she  was  disappointed  by  his  response  .  but  of  course  she  was  soon  agreeing  with  him  .  with  a  brief  sigh  he  curled  his  free  arm  around  her  waist  ,  tugging  her  closer  ,  “  as  soon  as  i’m  back  to  my  old  self  ,  we  can  go  on  another  / date /  night  .  is  that  satisfactory  ,  my  dear  ?  ”  he  smirked  ,  leaning  forward  as  best  he  could  without  causing  more  pain  to  himself  as  he  pressed  his  lips  to  her  cheek  in  a  gentle  kiss  .
