My name is Cassandra, and I live in Auckland, New Zealand. For those of you who don't know where that is, it's the small island next to Australia. I just want to clarify one fact: WE ARE NOT PART OF AUSTRALIA! 

We are part of the Commonwealth, and it's mostly surrounded by water. It's really small, but clean, with lots of trees and greenery. NZ is mostly famous for the Kiwi (that's a bird), scenery and animals.

I am a girl, just so you know, and I love reading and writing (obviously). My favourite book is The Girl With the Borrowed Wings by Rinsai Rossetti. I am a lover of food, music (both the classical kind and pop), attending orchestra performance (I play the violin), singing. I am obsessed with romance, Greek gods, the Mortal Instruments series, and the radio, which I have on for 24/7.

People who inspire me are David Attenborough (biologist, narrator for Planet Earth), Cassandra Clare (author of Mortal Instruments - she has the same first name as me! This is a sign!) and Dian Fossey (also a biologist).
