Life does not unfold the same for everyone. Yet, this does not mean your path is destined only for darkness while another's overflows with light. I choose to believe that everything happens for a reason.

Thus, I do not write to teach you how to celebrate when joy arrives; I write to give you something to cling to when the storms take hold.

Though I first picked up this pen simply because I wished to, I now see it as a blade-capable of dealing a fatal blow, or woven with the power to save a life.

But promise me this: if I manage to grant you a brief sanctuary from the monotony of existence, yet the moment you step back into the waking world, you find that not even the faintest whisper of my words touched your soul-then promise me you will close my pages forever.

No matter the hour, I am here. That is all my heart wished to say. I simply long to be a gentle therapist to the volcanoes that spit fire into the night.
