I don't think the "update status" section is enough to explain everything that I've been through over the course of two years. I could probably write a book about it and maybe one day I will. Just know that my parents are now my guardian angels and I'm figuring out how to navigate this new journey of my life. It's confusing, gut wrenching, and eye opening, with highs and lows, ebbs and flows. 
          	
          	With that said, I'm getting back into utilizing writing as an outlet and an escape from my personal reality and from the disappointing and yet unsurprising chaos that is the news cycle. I want to continue and hopefully even finish this. Maybe start something new too? Just a thought. 
          	
          	I know that you all have experienced so much within your own lives since I started this. I hope your hearts are at peace.

Back in May, I spoke about life throwing curveballs my way and me having to bounce back, emotionally. Well, life threw another curveball my way a couple of weeks ago when my mother departed this world. So, I’m bouncing back again. Some days I’m okay. Other days, it’s really ugly. I’m trying to get back into the place of writing being an escape for me. Hopefully that comes soon.

@hautecouture12 I can't even imagine how devastating this experience is for you. I'm sure no words can truly convey how you feel and what you've lost. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for your peace of mind and spirit, an abundance of support, and that your heart be buoyed by the love of your tribe.
