@hydratech , dropping her arm that held the bow, she took the arrow with a soft ‘thanks’ and handled it steadily back into her quiver. kate then set aside the bow next to it as well, calling it quits on the target practice. (albeit, the practice she was doing was aiming at one of her suspects face.) “he knows somewhat. i told him i might come out here and— ugh, i mean i took his DOG so he'll probably remember that. i just,” she paused, trying to not sound so exasperated, “... sorry. i left on a bad note.”

@hydratech , “quitting,” kate finally said after she caught her breath, “is for people who do terrible jobs. and i do amazing at my job!” she then displayed a smile, although the lines in her face are worn with stress. maybe she really needs to get out of LA for good. “why nervous? am i... like doing something weirdly?”
