BUT, I'm so incredibly happy to hear my little fixation and serial daydreams could give you peace, warmth, and maybe a sense of nostalgia.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother, but I'm glad you were able to share the show with her. It's wonderful that we can share something across miles of ocean and/or land with perfect strangers as well as those closest to us. It's incredible that something like a random little thought of mine from years ago could do something like remind you of or bring back the warmth you shared with her while watching the show. It's also an unexpectedly hard hitting compliment, that I may be able to bring a similar vibe from the show to a fic of mine. Thank you.
I lost my own grandmother a year ago (almost to the day) so I honestly get hanging on to the thing that can make you feel closer to somebody you're so impossibly far from. I stopped being so stable with updating the fic around the time of her passing -- it's been a long, hard year -- but your comment's reminded me how much she used to encourage my creative endeavours.
