I know it’s more than likely that no one will ever see this but I’m gonna write about this guy that I’ve liked for two years here (please note I’m probably not a good person and also the grammar in this’ll probably suck)
So I called dibs on this guy at a pool party the summer between 9th and 10th grade with one of my friends, and she ended up dating him a bit after that anyways (I know dibs are stupid but still) anyways, they broke up after like a month or two of dating and it’s been like a year and a half now and I still really like him. the week before valentine’s day I asked him out because like, what could go wrong, you know? All his friends were saying that he seemed to like me a lot and he just seemed so perfect. He said no though. he didn’t just like straight up go “no”, he sent me a massive paragraph about how much he loves me and enjoys spending time with me but thinks we should stay friends and that was that. But on valentine’s day itself he had gotten me and a couple other close friends cookies and he literally cried when he realized he left them at home by accident he’s so sweet. then fast forward to today he spent as much time as he could with me and even gave me a hug when I said goodbye. he literally went “can I hug you” right after I said goodbye and did my usual wave (note: for some reason whenever we talk we stand a bit closer together than I really do with anyone else so he practically whispered it in my ear I thought I was gonna die) and when he hugged me he was so nice and I’m just really upset that I’m still head over heels for him and he doesn’t even like me like that.
anyways none of this matters I guess because I’m probably just going to go back to my ex once again, she would drop anyone for me (yes I know it’s really shitty of me to me a home wrecker but she purposefully dates people I don’t like because she wants me to take her back) and she also asks me out practically bimonthly no matter her relationship status
