Paryushan, the festival of kshamapna or forgiveness. A festival that is much required to be celebrated nowadays, even if you don't do other things. Asking for forgiveness and forgiving others doesn't do any harm. It only increases your character strength. I would also be happy if you can restrain from eating non vegetarian till 2nd sept or atleast on 31st august. Even animals feel hurt, so you can stop on just a few days to make your kindness more real. If not, even if you feel the guilt that is one step ahead.
