okay so i want to address the new guidelines that wattpad has put in place. SPECIFICALLY targeting the “smut ban”
          
          that’s in brackets because it’s NOT a smut ban.
          
          wattpad will not permit children being written about sex and such considering this is to protect children.
          
          you CAN write smut. it just has to correlate to plot. for example, it can’t be there as “filler” because there is no point in the smut while if you’re writing it to make a point of intimacy or relationship change then it CAN be written. 
          
          no hate targeted but some of yall on here are seriously illiterate and do not know how to comprehend guidelines. also, moving to ao3 will NOT solve this. ao3 is another world entirely.
