hope you're all doing okay. things are really rough right now, just remember to step away from all the flooding information when you feel overwhelmed. you have a right to take the space you need. y'all may have started, or  may BE starting on here as youngens, but I know so many of us personally that have grown monumentally since our beginnings here on wattpad. i started here on 2013/2014 myself. it seems like just yesterday, then i blink and realize that i am now 19 years old. doing things i never even imagined.
          i continue to pray that you all have the space to breathe. stay safe, and stay smart.

i’m tired of police. don’t call the police into your community unless you HAVE to. you don’t know who you could be putting at risk in your community.
          calling the police on some kids hanging out is unnecessary . calling the police on someone taking a walk- who might have strange behavior which can be due to head injury, mental illness etc- is unnecessary. calling the police when  you have NO immediate reason, is unnecessary.
          just a reminder that every time you call the police into your community without a real reason, you are potentially putting lives, especially poc & specifically Black lives at risk. It’s similar to why you shouldn’t call the police on mentally ill folks for ‘check ups’ and stuff. I made that mistake in my past, thankfully already being in an urban community, a lot of the cops aren’t as bad due to being brought up in the community. unfortunately they are 16x more likely to kill a mentally ill person than Actually help.
          Please keep these things in mind before calling the cops. Your white a$$ might think it’s necessary, but usually it is not. white ppl especially are SO conditioned to call first ask questions later. remember that it can cost someone their life.
