I gasped, my hand flying to cover my mouth. It was my favorite quote,the one I had mentioned to him during one of our walks weeks ago. He remembered. He had used my own words to bridge the gap between us.
"I love you! Will you let me love you the way you deserved to be loved!" Elio continued, his voice echoing.
"Will you take me as your boyfriend? Will you make me yours?"
I wiped my face, took the deepest breath of my life and shouted back with everything I had.
"I LOVE YOU TOO! AND YES! I WILL TAKE YOU AS MY BOYFRIEND!"
