            amaliel frowned briefly , tilting her head at his amusement , though it didn't truly bother her . she sighed softly, not of irritation or impatience , simply an expression of calm and peace in this moment as his lips brushed against her hand. " is this another one of those moments where i'm missing something ? " she asked , tilting her head " certainly not , but poison is not how i would go about it . you know that , darling . " she confirmed , unable to fight her smile any longer as she offered a squeeze to both of his hands " maybe i do " she responded , pulling him in close , her gaze shifting in an attempt to hide the smile that threatened only to grow wider " maybe i'm forgetting... you might have to show me darling " she whispered with a teasing smile

jack smiles small, her literalness of the term making him laugh softly. he shakes his head, taking her hand and kissing it softly. while it was true, he couldn’t commit to saying the rest of the movie quote so instead he ooh nods. “ i dunno, you’re certainly not about murder, angel. ” his head tilts, clicking his tongue in faux suspicion. “ but i’m sure you know the tradition of what to do when you find someone underneath one? ”

            her hands were quick to lift , cupping his cheeks and as much as she willed herself to keep them there , she found herself unable to resist slipping them around his neck , one moving up into his hair. a deep sigh of peace washed over her as she lost herself in his lips . she smiled as they broke apart , almost breathless as she listened to him speak . " you have ? " she murmured , laughing gently as his fingers trailed down her thighs , breath hitching as they moved . " is that right ? well if its only fair . i could never say no , you're far too tempting " she murmured , shifting to press a kiss to his jaw " i think its perfect... a wonderful reminder of you . not that i could ever forgeg " 

jack smiles down at her, when she meets his eyes, his teeth bite down on his lip gently before she kisses him. he stays there, stealing another kiss, and another, the taste of her lips nearly distracting him. he hums softly in content. “ good, because i’ve been thinking— my name is shorter than yours so i think… i should get to mark, ” his pointer fingers from both hands graze down her thighs, stopping above the knee. “ here and here. i think that’s only fair. ”

            the angel smiled , lifting her head up slightly from where it rested against his shoulder . a quiet hum of agreement escaped her lips as she sat fully up , her smile shifting into something more , something passionate and desperate. a fire burning deep in the blue of her eyes " is this your way of offering ? " she asked , pressing a kiss to his lips " i miss that feeling ...deeply . "

" the sight of him made her heart swell . she often found herself wondering how she had ever longed for heaven when he existed alongside her . what use had she for her home when his arms around gave her everything she had ever wanted ? she had been a fool for so long . earth truly was perfect , so long as they walked upon it together . humming gently , she shifted , quietly crossing the room . her shoes and coat long forgotten by the door as she settled in alongside him , a gentle hand cupping his cheek " you're so beautiful..." she whispered , letting her head fall against his shoulder with a smile

" she responded , the light surrounding her dimming as she watched him , distracted momentarily from her rampaging . she smiled , admiring him as she reached behind her , grasping the stranger by the head , filling the room with impossible blue before letting them slump to the ground " can i do something for you my darling ?
