I get so irked when friends in books decide the character is perfect for someone(even if it is the love interest), like duude, where do they get off deciding that for someone that, to be frank, is not them, no matter their intentions, it's f#cked up. (in case I haven't explained well, I do that sometimes, I'm meaning when they brush aside the person's opinions on them with the other character or just forcing them together without one or the others input, that kind of thing) Don't mind much the fact it's for plot purposes or such, and I'll probably read the book anyway as long as the plot stays/is well-written, just that kind of dynamic with friends makes me just bristle(for lack of a better word). Might stem from my own disconnected outlook on relationships in general, as I don't keep much weight in the words of the people around me, their opinions aren't mine and if they attempt ro control me or something I'll cut off contact completely or ream them out/drag em. Don't know if anyone else feels this way or even cares but ヽ(´ー`)┌ just needed to put this out somewhere I guess.
