            "they are acceptable for certain aspects , I suppose ," he himself had a morning routine , the same he has had since he was but a child. it was altered once he came to gotham but resembled it close enough. albeit , switching up his nights was a habit he also brought along with him.
            
            "you believe it to be free of attempted theft? father is one of the wealthiest men in gotham and that makes him a target. although they have never made it on grounds ," due to various forms of security, "they have certainly tried. if anything being in a mansion makes things worse ," too many unknown variables. he knew the layout by memory but that did nothing if he wasn't constantly aware of what was happening in each. 
            
            "the  '  trillion  '  different rooms is a safety hazard. it leaves you unaware of your surroundings ," even if there was security to each room. relying on fail safes was something only imbeciles did.

            “ people have routines for a reason y’know ? “ mark’s brow raised in slight concern . sure it was good to mix things up every now and then , but in this line of work having a routine was a nice break from the chaos . this was just mark’s opinion on the matter , and it was probably for the best damian could sleep at a reasonable hour , maybe then he would actually grow and not look like such a shrimp .

            he gave a harsh glare before looking away with a tut, "appointing a set time for rest is meaningless. not only will you get too comfortable in the face of a routine but you will also allow a clear opening for opponents. have you never been enlightened on the fact that it is easiest to attack whilst one is sleeping?" while all true  (  in his eyes  )  it was all just a drawn out excuse to cover the fact that he couldn't sleep.

            ✦  ❝   every villain around here dresses like me ?   seriously  ?  ..   actually no that's not so surprising , it's usually like that isn't it ? flamboyant villains that out dress the righteous ones .    but i can assure you im not here to cause trouble nor am i in a /  cult  /  .. 
            the reason i said sorts of uniform is because i , like any other in my ranks , are allowed to dress with how we see fit  . so therefore they're both normal and work clothes  . but the lesser have uniforms , so it's not like just anyone dresses how they please . ❞ 
            {   he found it laughable that this caped child would dare to even think he was in a cult , him in a cult  ?   never in his years would he be in one .  but he at least hoped that his words would be believed , because they are true , the expendable wear uniforms and the important ones don't and wear whatever , it's just how it is .  }

            he didn't bother to mask the unimpressed expression that quickly took over his face. he couldn't tell if this man was genuinely unaware of the systems around here or if he was just initiating a ploy of some sorts. the fact that he had no clear conclusion irked him.
            
            "you have a fine skill of making situations worse for yourself ," he drawled out with a hidden roll of his eyes, "every villain dresses as the likes of you , annoyingly so ," even his outfit was less noticeable at times  —  and that was a hard bar to exceed.
            
            "insinuating you have a uniform like  /  that  /  makes it seem as if you are in some form of cult. what place of employment would make all of  .. this the standardized uniform?" if it proved to be true he would do good to stay as far away from it as possible. he refused to associate with such a place.

            {  being under surveillance was certainly not what he wanted , no one wants to be kept under watchful eye but it's especially annoying when he currently has not done anything “ suspicious ” other than dress the way he does .  at least he thinks he has not done anything to be extremely suspicious is all ..   }
