Alam ko naman na ang posibleng laki niya mula sa enhanced senses ko, alam ko na rin kung ano hitsura niya dahil sa pinakita sa akin ng hepe. Pero halos sumunod ako sa mga tao sa pagtakbo nang makita ko ang Grikleo sa harapan ko. Holy cow. Kaharap ko na ang halimaw. Kaharap ko ang Grikleo!
          
          I momentarily froze in my spot, making an intense eye to eye contact of the monster. Actually, wala talagang contact na maayos kasi dalawa ba naman ang ulo niya. Apat na mata ang nakatitig sa akin. Habang ako naman nagpabalik balik ng tingin sa dalawa niyang ulo.

          The head of the dog lets out a growl and loud bark, while the head of the goat opens its mouth wide enough to flex its long teeth and snake-like tongue. Lalong humigpit ang hawak ko sa spear at shield nang matanaw ko ang buntot niyang may nagaalab na apoy sa dulo. Its claws now scratching the soil, its tail slowly flicking back and forth, and hindi ko na kailangan ng kung anong degree in animal studies to ready myself for the next course of events. 
          
          Both the dog and goat let out a monstrous shrill and charged at me.

Hi! My academic year has started and I want to lay down a few points about the updates of my on-going stories. 
          
          AHEA's weekly updates will be on-hold. Nakasulat naman na sila hanggang chapter 29, but there are still errors in the consistency and some missing filler scenes. I was in a writer's block last week so hindi ko sila naayos. The posting of updates is still undecided. 
          
          Next, Perfectly Imperfect will soon have chapters! Papakiramdaman ko pa sa simoy ng hangin ang tamang date to publish them. I hope to see you around once the early chapters are released!
          
          That is all. I wish all of you a very good luck on your academic journey! My AHEA is welcome to be your temporary adventure once your real life responsibilities becomes heavy again. I hope to see you here again when school is over!

          "Do not fight it!" Parang sumisigaw direkta sa tenga ko ang boses ni Master. "Do not fight the magic!"
          
          The master's voice poured down on me like it was the first time I heard it. I closed my eyes and, surprisingly, found enough air to suck in. 
          
          My hearing blurred out as if I was being surrounded with a gel like structure, concealing out the monstrous noise Gerilan is making up there. Something seems to stretch every limb in my body, expand my chest, and spread out my bone like a growing plant put in at times two speed. 
          
          And my bones.. Every single bone in my entire body is breaking, cracking, reorganizing itself, sending out violent pangs of pain in my entire system. 
          
          A big lump seemed to materalize in my neck and I gasped loudly to breathe. There's small and thin materials popping out and growing fast in every inch of my skin. My nails from my hands down to my toes start to ring in intense pain. 
          
          "HELP.. ME!" I yell out from under the collapsing woods. Yet the moment I moved my jaw, a muscle somewhere in my back ripped.

I've been testing countless boundaries while creating this book; writing fight scenes despite having ZERO knowledge about combat, alternating six POVs even though one of my weaknesses as a writer is the consistency of character tone, and promoting this book despite my limited audience reach. And today, my lovely AHEA finally reached the 1k read! 
          
          I am beyond grateful to all people who gives my story a chance.  First draft palang ito kaya hindi guaranteed ang quality but I am so glad that some people still tried my story out! Jessa, Stefan, Selene, Liam, Jonah, and Christopher are more than thrilled to have you along in their journey in reaching for their own happily ever afters.
          
          Wala pa ako sa kalahati ng istorya, at simula palang ang 1k reads sa akin bilang manunulat ng epikong ito. May this story reach more wandering souls and join my characters as they seek the hero within them.

"Kaya naman pala parang may kakaibang amoy dito." The giant's shadow blanketed us as he loomed above. The scars on his face became deeper in closer distance, his green shade of green slowly turns into ugly color of mud. "Kakaiba ang awra niyo... Malamang ay may kinalaman kayo sa mga dragon.. Nararapat lang na madala kayo kay Eadar at Sadian!"
          
          Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa kanyang tugon. Alam ko ang pangalan na iyon. Narinig ko na iyon na binanggit ni Jessa, na sabi ring 'anak ng dyablo' ni Stefan. Sila ang mga kalaban namin sa istoryang ito, ang mga lalaking may pakana sa trahedyang naranasan ng lahat.
          
          "Kuya..." Tawag sa akin ng bata.
          
          Wala akong magawa kundi mapirmi sa pwesto ko. Wala akong laban sa laki niya. Maybe I can catch him off guard with the precise shots of my arrows, but my weapons are not with me. And who knows if Jessa and Christopher stayed in their places after the chaos Selene just caused?

Hi! No AHEA updates muna for this week. I've been busy kasi and I caught a fever because of the horrible weather we are dealing with right now.

Hindi ko na halos narinig ang tugon nilang lahat dahil nahanap ng mga mata ko ilang pares ng mga sapatos ng bata sa lapag. It feels like my ears just turned into static, but I couldn’t realize it anymore– especially when there’s voice of a young boy suddenly echoed from afar. 
          
          “Please..” Isang boses ng bata ang halos umiiyak na mula sa kalayuan. “Naghihintay ang nanay ko sa akin! Pakawalan mo ako!”
          One loud and deep laugh of something monstrous echoed back against the walls of the huge cave. “You stepped on my property! And do you know what happens when a child crosses someone else’s property?”
          
          Walang sumagot sa kanyang tanong, nang tumawa ulit ang sino mang higante na iyon. Another loud bang resounded, which once again shook the ground. “Punishment! And that is your death!”
          
          “Huwag po!” Umiiyak na ang bata. “Hindi pa ba sapat sayo itong mga kaibigan kong nakuha mo na? Pakawalan mo na ako! Kailangan ko ‘pang umuwi.”
          
          “Someone needs help.” I declared. Nilingon ko silang lahat. Lahat sila ay malaki na ang mga mata habang nakatanaw sa loob ng kweba. “It’s a child. A child is in danger.”
