ok soo I need to to vent (kinda) so I have a summer reading project that is due on Monday, ok so I told my mom that I did it buuuut I didn't ok, so i'm doing it now and I told my mom that I was getting a reference essay from chatgpt so she wouldn't think that I cheated on my thing, (also I was kinda getting guilty that she would find out and like ground me when I did nothing wrong)
so then she like nods and stuff and says "ok, and says I mad that you are comfortable lying" or some shit like that right
I NEVER SAID THAT your putting words in my mouth, like I was just being lazy and shit right. BUT if I did that to her she would be pissed and I would get in even MORE trouble, right and she would say DON'T PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH YOUNG LADY or like DON'T TALK BACK TO ME
but you can do it???? (maybe i'm being to hard on my mom? what do y'all think?)
@helothere26 yeah, no. That was wrong of her. Maybe you can sit her down in the living rom and tell her that you didn't like it when she put words into your mouth (tell her before hand not to interrupt you while talking) and then you can hear the apology. I'm a hundred percent sure she'll listen! She's your mother after all. If she starts blaming you then plz try to not get irritated and raise your voice aight? Just tell her that you weren't trying to attack her you just wanted to share your problems with her. I think she'll cool down by then too and then the issue might get sorted (this is what I do with my mum and it might not work for everyone but that's the best I can give you)
