(      the psychiatric resident rolled back her shoulders to offer a hand.     she had actually just sat through a meeting earlier in the week regarding workplace manners,     appropriate behaviors,     how to treat coworkers …     )       i’m  not   down   here   often,       nor  am    i   good   with   names —         drug  names?      yes.        human?      no.

            lawrence held back a small laugh , his fingers lightly tapped against his cane for only a moment .  it wasn’t unknown that the oncologist and surgeon wasn’t the most friendliest but he certainly has changed since a certain incident .  “ first time i’ve ever been called that but of course that’s the case .  though i’m fairly new here in comparison to the old hospital i use to work at .  ”
