Hope I just finished binge reading Retreat into Darkness and OMG, wow! I absolutely became enraptured in the world you created. The story has so many twists and turns and loved the unpredictability of it too. You definitely have great creative talent to dream up such an engrossing adventure, romance, action, fantasy story. It was so very easy to become engrossed in that world and connect with the characters. You detailed their personalities so well, but I couldn’t help but cry for Aeryn and poor Dominic. I thought that Cassy was going to live and get there in time to save her. The whole story was an emotional roller coaster but I must admit that Dominic nit getting his Happy Ever After while everyone around him was, that was heartbreaking. Once realising you were not having her saved I did wonder if Dominic might have stayed in the real world as it would have been devising to continue without his sole mate. But surprisingly he returned with everyone. Not sure what was meant by him walking down the isle as Best-man with ‘ a girl from town’. I wish there was some last amazing miracle and she was resurrected being a Star child with her own powers or something, and appeared as a shooting star dropping in on everyone’s the Wedding reception. Imagine the reactions! Also had to feel sorry for her brother too. Yes he had Jo but only just reacquainted with his sister to loose her. But if she became the magical, mystical Star child/ guardian or something, I think it may have just added another surprising development in the happy ending. But brilliant book. Can’t wait to see what else you write in future.

Your book says under editing, do you know when you will be finished editing it, or can I still read it while it is under editing?

I live this. I don’t normally like enemies to lovers but i fell in love with this. Do plan or writing more?

Im kinda confused if this story is in 3rd person or 1st and im only on the 3rd chapter. Dont get me wrong its a great book and there a lot a detail but i feel like it keeps switching. For example in one of the sentences i just read said "She takes in deeps breaths and releases them," -3rd person; "thanking my body for calming itself down." -1st person (keep in my ind these 2 statements were a whole sentence)
