I live in metro-Detroit with my family, two lovable golden retrievers, two cats, and a turtle.  You can see plenty of pictures of them on my Instagram. I love coffee, sausage pizza with extra sauce, true-crime TV shows, bonfires on cool nights, and my Triumph motorcycle. 

I'm also an avid reader. One of my earliest memories is crying at the end of Charlotte's Web because it wasn't fair- she'd saved Wilbur, damn it!  However, I moved past that sad experience, and I started another book about a boy and his dog, Old Yeller.  

Luckily, that didn't turn me off of reading because I've found great joy in countless other stories since, like the Black Stallion, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Jack Reacher, Wheel of Time,  A song of Fire and Ice, and anything by Harlan Coben. I hope you like reading my stories as much as I liked writing and revising, and revising, and revising.  They are stories with humor, twists, turns, and memorable characters.
