a soothing melody fills the air, emitting from the worn (but well—loved) lyre in their hand. there is movement, a distant thud as the door closes behind the intruder. [so much for peace, and quiet, they think] as one eye cracks open at the sound. bright, golden eyes peer at their visitor, interest piqued as a smile crosses their face. “Welcome back, I was not sure if I would see your face again ( … ) many rarely return.”

Percy stood under the leaking awning, rain threading down his sleeves even though the storm hadn’t reached the rest of the street yet.

“You’re not from around here, are you?” he said gently, sea-green eyes narrowing like he could feel something wrong in the air.

and to what do i owe the pleasure? i’m sure you didn’t travel this far just to hear me play a little, ole lyre.

[their usual flamboyance is nowhere to be seen as their agile fingers plucking at the strings with fluid motion. years and years of practice shine between the cords, a mere showcase of their skill. [entertainer] was one of their professed skills but the woman across from them exudes a different type of energy compared to their usual audience]. pardon me if this is (too) upfront and rude to ask, but where do you hail from? i’m always curious on where others have travelled from.

@canniluvs [ made of captured flames is her eyes, and they gleam with the joy of a child. whether it was dunami hymns or rinnick carols—even the skill of the lyre brought peace, however temporary to the queen it was. she sits with a smile big enough to curve the flesh within her cheeks. there were no guards, no heraldries to represent her. only this elegant creature and their trusty instrument ] please, continue

dislike? i’m a performer, entertainer—i am absolutely [flattered] that you sought my music out. sit, make yourself comfortable. [their nimble body moves around with practiced ease, pulling a chair over to their side]. not a lot of people have been around lately, so it is nice to see a new face here.

History will call her a myth, The Saint of The Dragon. The one who brought them to us. Leanna Bloodmane, The Red Sun. She rides that thing, that beast of darkness; the monster who feasts upon the flesh of its own kin beyond the sea. “What do they call it?„ MORGATHUN, THE DEVOURER. ⠀‎ ‎ ⠀‎ Scales so dark they look black. “They aren’t?„ No, They’re red. As red as blood, they say. Bloodmane rides her into battle and thousands die beneath them. ⠀‎ ‎ ⠀‎ She’d be a tale to tell terrors of children. They say she’s heading for here, now. For the throne that is [now] rightfully hers. The Prophecy said it…
and our king abandoned God, first.
