Thanks for your comments on sic; I hope you enjoy the rest of the book. I am only 28, but I have been writing a novel a year since I was about 15... Though almost all of them suck, really. It took me a long time to get to where I could write with clean minimalism... the hardest part, as you noticed, is finding the tiny detail that opens up a great amount of description in the reader's mind, without actually writing that detail down. Anyway, thanks for the interest. It's always nice when someone gets it.
