Hi everyone,
          
          Just a follow up from my last announcement.
          
          I know it’s been a few days since I’ve uploaded a chapter.
          
          I’m writing here and there but this week has just been packed with stuff.
          
          I came to the realisation that the next few chapters should come out at the same time since it’s a pretty major milestone in the story and it only makes sense to release them together.
          
          So with that being said, pleaseeeee bear with me for the next few days.

Hi Everyone!! 
          
          I’m not entirely sure when you’ll be getting a new update. I’ve been kinda busy lately and haven’t had time to actually sit down and write… 
          
          Just wanted to let you guys know in advance since a few have been asking when another update is coming. 
          
          You’ll probably get one on Wednesday. 
          
          I wanted to re-iterate something I said last announcement about the slow burn.
          I know we’re nearing Chapter 40 and nothing much has happened. 
          But I wanna say that, my chapters are really short. Like  the most a chapter has been is around 2.6k words, so it’s evident that there is more chapters, hence why it seems like I’m longing out the process. 
          
          In reality, it’s not that long tbh. The amount of chapters just makes it seem like it is lmao. 
          
          Thats all, happy reading everyone. And thank you for 5k!!!

I think some people misinterpret the meaning of a slow burn… 
          
          It’s getting kinda boring when people ask when they’re going to kiss or be intimate. 
          
          Yes I know it’s been nearly 40 chapters but there’s more to a storyline than straight up going into the romance stuff  
          
          Every book is different, they carry different plots and different paces to the part you want to see. 
          
          It will happen eventually. And when it does, it’ll be worth it. 
          
          I’d rather plant characters, have them grow and learn each other than randomly have them kiss.
          
          It’s not always crush -> kiss -> spicy stuff and then boom they get married. 
          
          So, just bear with me and trust the process. It’ll be rewarding after you slowly uncover who they are, why they are the way they are and how they fall into each other.  
          
          Anyways, I sincerely hope you guys are enjoying reading in the same way I enjoy writing. 
          
          Thank you for over 4K reads, it means a lot to me and only makes me want to continue. 
          
          Hopefully the next few chapters ease off a bit (or maybe).

          I realise that I haven’t posted any updates or new chapters. This week has been a little busy tbh. 
          
          You’ll be getting updates very soon. 
          Atm i dont have a set schedule, but i do aim to upload every other day, whether thats a singular chapter or 2. 
          
          I wanna say thank you to everyone, cant believe i’ve exceeded over 2k reads. That’s pretty insane.
          
          I really hope you guys are enjoying it so far, i understand its been a super slow process of the two characters. The slow burn is definitely burning lmao.
