I have summaries for stories connected to Inhumation, one being a prequel about Poppy and a sequel about Cain. You do not need to read inhumation to enjoy these stories.

          It had been over one year since the brother of Cain Caver died. At twenty-two, he is expected to work alongside his father as part of a summer internship before attending Yale Law school in the fall. 
          While working in the most fantastic city in the world, New York City, Cain comes across someone from his past that can't help but make his heart miss a beat. He was never the type of person who ever wanted to settle down, but again he never thought he would come across the only girl he would ever love.

          Prequel  summary  
          Poppy Pascale was the daughter of one of the most respected federal judges in the country. At seventeen years old, she has plans to follow in her father's footsteps; it is not a surprise that she spends much of her time mixing with the leaders of the future. Poppy has a dark past, and when her brother becomes eligible for parole, she begins to panic about the possibility of his release. She finds herself running into the arms of someone from her past.
          
          Walden Appelgate had found himself at one of the most established firms in Chicago. They represented celebrities, business owners and gang members, all with positive results. When he comes across his ex-girlfriend, he can't help but want her back. It might be legal, but they could never be spotted if he wished for a career in politics.
          
          The two of them can't help but run toward one another, and they must keep professional appearances if either of them wants to get their happily ever after. Life had other plans, which is the story of how Poppy and Walden could never be.

I have a couple of things I am writing in the background, including a new story named - Falling From Grace, which is set in an English boarding school and follows a group of teenagers as they move into adulthood.

Another day, another chapter. So I've nearly finished writing this; I have the last chapter to write (written the Epilogue ages ago, like years ago). It is proving challenging to end the story, but I still have a few weeks before I want to get it done and dusted.

It’s a bit different from inhumation; however, they are still characters battling their inner demons, just this time, they are in an English Boarding School.
