Hey all!! Chapter 12 is finally out for my book "Chocolate"!! I decided to do away with the original chapter 12. With what I'm aiming for, it just didn't fit the plot.
This chapter was by far the hardest one to write, mainly because I was battling with how I wanted the rest of the story to unfold.

Aghh, writer's block sucks!!
I hope everyone had or is having a great day! Right now, it's 8:56 pm for me. Today, I started online school again. We were on "spring break" all of last week. It feels great to be productive again!
I'm in the midst of writing chapter 13 to my book "Chocolate." I am not a superstitious person, but I do find it kind of coincidental that the 13th chapter is by far the hardest to write. I can't think of any new ideas!
What are some ways that you guys get into "writing mode?" And how do you deal with writer's block? I need some ideas to get the "creative juice" flowing in my brain haha!
Sometimes ideas just flow out of my brain and I can easily write. Sometimes it takes a while and it gets a bit overwhelming. Anything helps!

@heyyitsjasmine01 What helped me was looking for a song which matched what would happen in the next chapter. The lyrics gave me ideas and the melody motivated me. Exercise also gets the blood pumping to the brain and helps get ideas flowing. Doing something else creative like painting or crafts lets you be creative in a different way and it also fun to create something out of nothing, to help you overcome the blank page syndrome. I miss the days when ideas just flowed, lately it's like pulling teeth. Best of luck with school and your writing. I'll be checking out your story soon.

I'm having a bit of writer's block, so it might be a few days until I post another chapter. I started writing it in the middle of March and aghhh I'm stuck :((
