@hiatus_xix I go to UCA, I just did a foundation year, had to because of my a-level grades but honestly if you have the chance to do that, I encourage you to, I changed my mind about my course and it’s before the actual degree starts so i wasn’t stuck on anything, I joined two societies, very fun (one is craft the other is lgbt) and I met some really good friends and people, friendships are so fun especially if you’re all on campus, I spent so many evenings at someone else’s watching movies, being able to just go to someone’s room/flat within like 3 minutes is so good, living on campus for first year is something else I would encourage too, living away from home wasn’t necessarily hard for me but getting used to cooking most nights was difficult for like a month or two, I did miss my cats the most out of everything else lol but I either went home for a weekend or my mum came to see me once every month so that definitely helped, obviously that would be easier if your uni is near home (about 3 hours on a train for me) and if you do want to do trains a lot get a student rail card (or 16-25 I can’t remember what it is) I managed to get a free one with my student bank account it’s amazing. Joymaxxing summer lmao I spent a lot of time with friends before I moved and worked a bit too but i do genuinely love my job and I’ve done it for three summers now, just doing what you love really, I can talk more on instagram if you want @toby.img (or other socials lmk)

@Mon_frer honestly idek if i go to uni - alevels have been a major fuck up so far so im not optimistic.... can only hope for the best. 
            how is uni though, please tell me like everything good about it - what course do u do/which uni do u go (only answer what u feel comfy w btw i dont wanna dox u), did u join any clubs/groups @ uni n how are they, what are uni friendships like, how does it feel living away from home..... oh and how do i joymaxx alevel-summer???

            and yeah rn i havent got anything planned but ive got an interview and group assessment for a part time job at waitrose this friday so shitting myself cause this will be my first ever interview and GA. I've got another little assessment thing for this work experience i applied for- the day before my interview  ugh
            
            someday you'll come across the right people and they probably won't be in your school anyway. like you said, keep a positive mindset and it well definitely pay off :)
