Kieffer Higgins grew up in a small, San Joaquin Valley town two and a half hours away from the coast.  She often spent her summers roaming the mall, catching the latest movie, and spending hours on her laptop typing away.  Though she loves writing, her main passion is chemistry, physics, and biology.  She resides in California with her two dogs and pile of friends.
