Why do we live in a society where being beautiful is defined by your size or your bust? Why do we live in a world where our definition of beauty is not our personality or the way we treat others, but the way we look and what we wear? I am so sick and tired of people asking me what I would change about myself if I got the chance. And I am beyond sick of people being so offended by the beauty of others. Jealousy is the worst look on any one of us, it really is. We all have something to be proud of. We shouldn't be shy because we're afraid of negative judgement. We shouldn't hide from new people because we don't like the way we look. And we sure as hell shouldn't be scared of the society we live in because 90% of the people in it are pompous assholes who believe that you have to be a "10" to make it anywhere. I'm sad and sorry to say that our society has become so bitter and miserable, that suicide is a 'good' option by many of your definitions. Suicide should never be an option, especially if it's because someone commented on the width of your nose or waist-line. I'm a firm believer that everyone has a billion more better qualities than they do bad ones. I'm also a firm believer in blind love and friendship. We all have no reason to hate who we are or how we look. Because we weren't born to please others, we were born to live our lives the way we want to. And if you change the way you look. Fine. If you change the way you act. So be it. And if you pay for your friends. Be my guest. But the only person you're hurting, is yourself. Because then you'll never know what people truly do love you for YOU. And that's not okay by any means. And that is what is so fucked up about our society. That we think the only way we can accept ourselves is if everyone else does first. That's fucking disgusting.
