Hello everyone,

          	It’s been quite a while.

I hope everyone is doing well. I am pleasantly surprised to see that my stories are still getting attention after so many years. Looking back, I wish I would have finished CITC and given you guys the ending I wanted to. With the storyline I had planned, it likely would have been over 100 parts.

As I have mentioned in a previous update, I started writing about 10 years during one of the darkest times in my life. I used it as a distraction from the mental health issues I was facing. I was 13 when I started this account, and now I am almost 23. I can say that things have gotten better.

I wanted to give a quick update for anyone who may have been curious about what I have been up to since I stopped posting:

I have since graduated both high school (class of 2020, how fun) and college. I am planning to start applying to medical school this year. I am still the same weird and sarcastic person, but older now with more responsibilities. I also have gotten cats now, which I had never had before, and I highly recommend them for anyone who may benefit from an emotional support animal.

Life is different now, but it seems to be going in a positive direction.

Once again, I truly appreciate the continued support that my stories have gotten over the years. I honestly thought they would have been forgotten by now. Thank you for keeping them alive. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.

Wishing you all nothing but the best,

          	- M

I am so sorry I haven’t updated or given the Death Note story the ending you guys deserved. When I started the book, I had the whole idea planned out, and it still remains to be the same idea. But at the time I started writing it, it was one of the darkest times in life. I had so much free time that summer and I used writing as my escape from depression. Now, in the past year or so since I have stopped updating, I haven’t had as much time as my life has changed.

Anyways, I thought I should update anyone who was wondering why I mysteriously disappeared from Wattpad, I checked every so often to see how things were going but was scared to do anything if it wasn’t right or in case I was secretly hated now lol. I hope not. I missed everyone I used to talk to and hope we can catch up again. ❤️

Hey, I’m not a big fan of doing these statuses that notify everyone, but I wanted to say something. If you would please read my previous statuses, I would greatly appreciate it. I have been thinking about pausing Caught In The Crossfire, at least until I regain interest in the series. It takes longer for me to write a book series that I am not interested in, and I am sorry if this upsets anyone. I’ve been thinking about starting another book, which focuses on the new 2017 version of ‘It’. It’s still in the air, I just want to write something that I am interested in, and the storyline for ‘It’ is much faster paced than Death Note. I was also thinking that if I take time away and write something else not Death Note related that afterwards I might be more interested in finishing CITC, if anyone is interested in an It spinoff let me know :) . I will continue to write occasional one-shots on request. I hope everyone is doing okay.
