[  cam snorts,  walking herself down the hall of jesse’s house to the kitchen.  she’s gone a moment,  before returning with two steaming mugs,  tea sachets already steeping.  ]  you would’ve already burned yourself like three times if you were doing this right now.  [  she sets them aside,  getting comfortable in jesse’s bed,  which was basically their shared bed with how often she slept over.  ]  i missed you.  feels like we haven’t had a sleepover in forever.  [  it feels kinda stupid to say,  but it’s true.  they might see each other every day,  but they’re trying not to die,  or helping someone else.  it hasn’t been just them,  cam and jesse in ages.  ]

[a small smile forms on jesse’s lips as she goes towards the closet, pulling out the blanket that’s solely for when camila comes over.]
