First of all, it's amazing that you're writing a story and planning to publish it soon—welcome to the author community! Feel free to share your work with us; I’m sure it’s going to be amazing, and I genuinely hope you achieve great success in this journey.
            
            Now, about your concern—before publishing, try to complete at least half of your book, if not the whole thing. Writing and publishing at the same time can be stressful, and I’m saying this from experience. It becomes difficult to give updates on time due to many reasons. But if you finish a good portion before publishing, you can release chapters according to a schedule without any pressure.
            
            As for reach, don’t expect instant success the moment you hit "publish." Good things take time. Patience is key. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, and To reach more people, you need to put in some effort—find good readers, tell them about your book, but avoid promoting it in other authors’ books. Instead, create an author account, use Wattpad’s communication board, share your work with friends, and connect with other writers. That way, no one can report you because you’re promoting your work the right way, on your own terms.
            
            About copyright—don’t worry! Copyright is a legal protection that ensures that your work—your words, plot, characters, and ideas—cannot be copied, distributed, or used by others without your permission. It gives you full ownership of your book, so no one else can claim it as their own
            
            Just add a copyright statement at the beginning of your book So If someone does, the copyright committee will take action, but only if you’ve mentioned it in your book. Think of it as an extra layer of protection for your work.
            
            That’s it! It’s not as complicated as it seems. Just be patient, enjoy the process, and keep writing with confidence. You’ve got this!

@sunshinekiso i have also plotted a story and i am planning to publish it soon maybe in march. But the problem is 1) I have a private insta and that's also deactivated from some time. I am thinking about how to promote like people usually report spammers if they keep promoting in other's book
            2) I don't know anything about copyright please do tell me that too.

@k-ishi Omg you are such a sweetie i am so glad to get appreciated thank you so much you liked the stories i saved. And which girl does not like enemies to lovers. Damn! That's my favourites. I have already added this to my reading list. But my exams are right now occuring over my head pissing me off. Only if you understand I promise I would start reading it after 22nd.
